On 17th April, the school conducted a highly informative and practical Fire Safety Drill in collaboration with the Rudrapur Fire Station. The drill aimed to educate students from Classes 8 to 12 about fire safety, emergency preparedness, and how to respond effectively in real-life situations.
The session began with a brief introduction on the causes and types of fire, along with methods to control them. Firefighters from the Rudrapur Fire Station explained the various classes of fire and demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
To bring the learning to life, the team recreated real scenarios such as gas leaks and cylinder fires. Students and teachers not only observed but also actively participated in operating fire extinguishers under expert supervision. This hands-on experience helped build confidence and gave them a deeper understanding of emergency response techniques.
The event concluded with a powerful reminder about the importance of staying calm, alert, and responsible during fire emergencies. It was a truly enriching experience that promoted awareness, self-reliance, and preparedness among all participants.
