A one-day Capacity Building Workshop on the theme “Use of Artificial
Intelligence in the Classroom” was conducted on 1st November 2025 at Columbus Public School under the auspices of the CBSE Centre of Excellence, Dehradun. The training session, arranged exclusively for the teachers of our school, aimed to empower educators with advanced pedagogical models, seamlessly integrating Artificial Intelligence into modern classroom practices. The workshop was led by eminent Resource Persons - Mr. Prateek Goyal (Principal, The Gurukul Foundation School, Kashipur) & Mrs. Neelima Upadhyay (PGT AI, BLM Academy, Haldwani).
The event commenced with a welcome song performed by the school’s pre-primary wing faculty members, setting a melodious start for the day. In his inaugural address, Mr.
Manoj Kumar Khera (Managing Director) extended a cordial welcome to the Resource Persons and all participating teachers. He emphasised the importance of continuous professional development for teachers, particularly in an era characterised by rapid technological advances and pedagogical changes.
The Resource Persons conducted an engaging and highly interactive session, facilitating insightful discussions on the practical integration of Artificial Intelligence tools into teaching methodologies. A series of experiential learning activities were carried out, enabling participants to understand the transformative potential of AI in enhancing instructional efficiency, fostering creativity, and increasing student engagement.
Mr. Manoj Kumar (Principal), commended the participants for their commitment to educational innovation and excellence. The workshop concluded with the presentation of commemorative mementoes by Mr Manoj Kumar Khera to the esteemed Resource Persons, expressing gratitude for their contributions.
