In celebration of the spirit of community service and youth leadership, the Interact Club of Columbus Public School, Rudrapur, organised a special assembly on the 4th of November to mark World Interact Day.
This event eloquently reflected the Interact motto — 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟 — 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.
The assembly commenced with a warm introduction by the anchors, followed by the dignitaries lighting the auspicious lamp, symbolising knowledge and positivity. The atmosphere was infused with devotion and unity as the school choir performed a soulful school prayer.
In honour of the presence and guidance of the distinguished guests, a badge distribution ceremony was conducted with exemplary coordination and grace. This was succeeded by an insightful presentation on the significance of Interact Day, emphasising the role of young leaders in fostering positive societal change.
A melodious musical performance and an inspiring self-composed poem added creativity and enthusiasm to the proceedings. The highlight of the morning was a dance and skit presentation that exemplified teamwork, compassion, and service — the fundamental principles of the Interact movement.
The esteemed Managing Director addressed the assembly with an inspiring speech, motivating students to uphold their commitment to leadership and service with unwavering dedication. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing appreciation to all dignitaries, educators, and participants who contributed to the success of the celebration.
Through this distinguished assembly, the Interact Club reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and community welfare — a truly memorable occasion.
