On 20th September, the school
in collaboration with CBSE Centre of Excellence, Dehradun, hosted an insightful capacity building workshop for the teachers, focused on the vital theme of Stress Management. The event featured distinguished speakers, Dr. Gayatri Kanwar (Principal, BLM Academy, Haldwani) and Mrs. Mahima Bhatt (Principal, Hermann Gmeiner SOS School, Bhimtal) , both of whom brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, guiding participants through an engaging and interactive learning experience.
The workshop commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, which set a reverent tone for the day. Following this, the audience was treated to a melodious welcome song, presented by a choir of teachers itself.
Dr. Kanwar and Mrs. Bhatt captivated the attendees with their comprehensive insights into the myriad types of stress that individuals may encounter in their lives. They elaborated on the profound impact of stress on mental and physical well-being and introduced practical techniques designed to alleviate its burden.
One of the standout features of the workshop was a rejuvenating 10-minute guided meditation session. The experience left everyone feeling refreshed, calm, and re-energized.
As a gesture of appreciation, beautiful mementoes were presented to the distinguished resource persons. The session concluded on a high note with an inspiring address by our Principal Sir, who eloquently highlighted the importance of stress management in today’s fast-paced world.
