An Inter-House Spell-Bee Competition was held at Columbus Public School on 15 November 2025. The competition was conducted in two categories—Sub-Senior & Senior and witnessed remarkable enthusiasm and spirited participation from students of all four houses. The competition sought to enrich pupils’ vocabulary, sharpen their orthographic skills, and foster a spirit of healthy academic rivalry.

Participants navigated a series of intellectually stimulating rounds, including synonyms, homophones, one-word substitutions, spell-bee challenges, and a rapid-fire segment that rigorously tested their composure, agility of mind, and mastery of the English language. Students exhibited commendable confidence and meticulous preparation, articulating even the most intricate and deceptive words with admirable precision.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed Principal, Mr Manoj Kumar, whose presence added solemnity to the proceedings. Beyond the excitement of competition, the Spellathon proved to be a transformative learning experience, enhancing not only linguistic competence but also self-assurance, presence of mind, and critical thinking skills.
