Description:
One-day workshop under Janbhagidari Activities was organised by CBSE at Universal Convent Sr Secondary School in Haldwani on 6th June 2023. The workshop focused on "Ensuring Foundational Literacy and Numeracy" and encouraged students to showcase their creativity and global awareness. Seven students from Columbus Public School participated in competitions such as Quiz, Nukkad Natak, Wall Painting, Drawing, and Art & Craft, all centered on G-20 theme.
The quiz competition tested students' knowledge of the G-20 and the importance of literacy and numeracy on a global scale. Through captivating Nukkad Natak, students raised awareness about foundational literacy and numeracy, sparking discussions on the role of education in shaping a better future. Drawing and Art & Craft competitions provided students with a platform to unleash their imagination and artistic abilities, showcasing the significance of literacy and numeracy in today's interconnected world.
Overall, the workshop fostered pride and sense of accomplishment among participants. It celebrated creativity, deepened students' understanding of foundational literacy and numeracy within the context of the G-20, and reflected the school's dedication to empowering students and fostering their holistic development.
