Columbus Public School hosted the
investiture ceremony of its newly formed School Parliament (Students’ Council) on 10th September with great enthusiasm and dignity. A special morning assembly was organised for the occasion, attended by the entire school community.
The ceremony was conducted by Vice Principal, Dr Kamesh Mittal. Hon’ble Managing Director, Mr Manoj Kumar Khera, accompanied by Principal Mr. Manoj Kumar, presented badges and sashes to the office bearers of the four houses and administered the oath, urging them to perform their duties with honesty, integrity, responsibility, and dedication.
In his address, Mr Khera emphasised that the purpose of the School Parliament is to prepare students for leadership roles, enabling them to make decisions confidently and work as a team. He also encouraged all students to actively participate in co-curricular activities through their houses.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, marking the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership at Columbus Public School.
